How can you create a successful sales company,
and do it much quicker than I did?
After successfully launching several businesses, I found myself unable to take my company "to the next level." I enlisted the help of a CEO peer group. In my five years with the group, I took my business to a level I never could have reached on my own. I was hooked on the peer group concept!
I loved the peer model so much, I started my own CEO peer group company, CEO Focus. One day, a client of mine said, “Jim, I love being in a peer group. It has really helped me be more successful. Our model not only allows frequent vacations, it allows guilt-free vacations. You can schedule vacations so the clients will never know you are gone. I do not even take my cell phone on vacation.
Is there travel involved?
Yes and no. You will most likely operate in a metro area. Clients are almost always located within fifty miles of downtown. If you want to consult with clients outside your city, you certainly can, but most folks want to sleep in their own bed every night.

There is not a ton of cold calling. Cold calling can be a part of the initial strategy, but it does not have to be. Marketing the product is an ongoing activity.
